Daniel Wilson

Proteum Energy Director

Daniel Wilson is a senior energy industry executive with over 40 years of extensive operations,
leadership, and merger and acquisition experience, having evaluated over $15 billion in assets
and closed over $1 billion of assets. He spent over six years as Executive Vice President
Upstream for G2X Energy, Inc., where he was responsible for worldwide upstream business
activities for G2X and its parent company, Proman AG. He sourced, evaluated, and negotiated a
$210 million acquisition and joint development project with over 800 Bcfe of resource. Danny
managed the evaluation and acquisition of two offshore blocks in Trinidad where a drilling and
development project was completed with first production at 80 mmcfd. He also evaluated a
possible joint venture on a large natural gas project in Mozambique, Africa and met in Maputo,
Mozambique with the Chairman of Mozambique’s national oil company, Empresa Nacional de
Hidrocarbonetos (ENH), on the possible transaction.

Danny oversaw a $250 million budget as the senior executive at G2X and as a board member of
DeNovo Energy. During his career, he worked for Tenneco, EOG Resources, and was Senior
Vice President of Maverick American Natural Gas (now Jonah). Danny earned a B.S. Petroleum
Engineering with Honors from The University of Texas, Austin, and did graduate studies in the
Executive MBA Program at The University of Texas, Austin. He is currently enrolled in the
Texas A&M School of Law, where he will earn a Master of Jurisprudence in Energy, Oil, and
Gas Law in December 2021.

Danny is a co-founder of Global Carbon Strategies Corporation, which captures and destroys
methane greenhouse gases from an abandoned mine in Utah. The company is actively pursuing
other opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Carbon offset credits are sold under the
protocol of the California Air Resources Board.

Danny is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Society of Petroleum Evaluation
Engineers. He served for three years on the board of Proman’s DeNovo Energy (Barbados)
Limited, and served as a member of the board of directors of Brahman Resource Partners. He is a
registered professional engineer and a four-year veteran of the U.S. Army. Danny served in West
Berlin, West Germany, for over two years as a German linguist translating military intelligence
for the National Security Agency.

He and his wife, who is a Professor of Dental Hygiene, are active in the community by helping
students achieve their educational goals through endowed scholarships. Danny also serves as the
Vice Chairman of the board of directors for the Lone Star College Foundation, which manages a
$32 million fund for student scholarships.
